Chaun Soh, 
Creative Director

Chaun started Ideazz & Koncepts in early 2002, shortly after moving to Australia having by then lived and worked in different countries. She has since been involved in providing consultancy, marketing communications, graphic design and publishing services to clients from a wide range of industries mostly in Melbourne, Australia.

Chaun's career began in the late 1980s with a leading design house in the USA, followed by corporate design positions in New Zealand and Singapore before starting her own business in the latter in 1994, offering primarily graphic design and visual communication services to corporate clients.


During this time, Chaun designed and managed the prestige books and magazines produced for the International Fine Art and Antiques Fair for Asia, published by London-based Tresors Publishing Company and Bradbury International respectively. She also created the PR program for US luxury yacht builders, Grand Banks Limited; organised and managed the opening of Grand Banks’ new multi-million boat building facility in Singapore.

Chaun’s tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Business Administration) and experience in both the creative arts and business management, give her the left and right brain synergy needed for effective problem solving.

Her long and in-depth experience with businesses at all levels, from local start-up retailers to major international corporations, enables her to offer solutions that are innovative, creative and appropriate to each client's specific needs.

Linda Ang, Senior Graphic Designer

Linda, with over ten years experience as an art director and senior designer with major international and local agencies and consultancies, has a deep appreciation of all aspects of commercial design, above and below the line.

She sees projects of all sizes through from concept to completion and is well able to liaise and negotiate with production suppliers and contractors in order to achieve optimum results for our clients.

Linda's skills include website design, Flash presentations, print ads, posters, billboards, promotional materials, sales kits, information CDs, annual reports, corporate profiles, brochures, packaging, events management — all the way through to special events photography and newspaper production.

The principal industries with which she had been involved include tourism, print media, finance, banking, engineering, petroleum, ports, manufacturing, computers, instrumentation and more.

Her experience, versatility, keen eye for detail and ability to oversee projects through every stage make her an extremely valuable member of the Ideazz & Koncepts team.



Katharine Shade, Graphic Designer

Katharine's design career began after completing university degrees in Computer Science and Education, having found that designing her teaching material was more fulfilling than the teaching itself.

After several years producing the Victorian Education Department’s school newspaper and other publications, she decided to go into business for herself as a freelancer.

Seeking greater scope for her creativity and the freedom to choose with whom to work, she became increasingly involved with the kindred spirits at Ideazz & Koncepts.

While skilled in areas like magazine and technical writing, electronic photo restoration and web design, her main focus is on print production, particularly books, magazines and catalogues. She is often involved in entire projects, including design, typesetting and pre-press.



Andy Otes, Copywriter

Andy’s copywriting experience, at Creative Director level, includes work with major mainstream, direct marketing, business-to-business, industrial and sales promotion agencies.

He has written, produced and directed countless corporate and training videos, TV spots and radio commercials, many of which. along with print ads and brochures, have won industry awards.

In addition to media advertising and website content, Andy has extensive experience in writing direct marketing campaigns, newsletters and press releases.

He shares the strategy-based philosophy of Ideazz & Koncepts and can work with any level of briefing from comprehensive to minimal — asking the right questions to achieve the required result.

In addition to his assignments for Ideazz & Koncepts clients, he has worked for such major brands as American Express, MasterCard, BHP, Boral, Australian Defence Industries, Commonwealth Bank, Citibank, ANZ Bank, Du Pont and Reader's Digest.
